When an L.A. PD Captain's (Kevin Sorbo) daughter goes missing, he sends a detective on suspension for excessive use of force (punching a suspect repeatedly in the groin). Detective Watts (Thomas Downy) arrives in a virtual middle-of-nowhere town aptly named Grisly Cove only to find a country bumpkin sheriff coincidentally named Lumpkin. The Sheriff's assistant is absolutely spellbound by the good Detective and relentlessly flirts to the very last drop. Apparently, there is a sorority convention of sorts in town. Several young ladies of questionable morality (isn't that always the way?) are vying for a scholarship as well as for a top position within the sorority brass. But wait, something is amiss. Detective Watts unearths a secret that should have been plain as day to Sheriff Bumpkin; blonds have been disappearing in their area for years and all on their way to the special scholarship contest.
